Bridge Forward in Washington State

The Bridge Forward Event, funded by the Washington Developmental Disabilities Council and facilitated by the NLCDD, was a four-day free virtual conference that led to important learning, idea sharing, and recommendations to make the Washington behavioral health and IDD service systems better. Several materials were developed to help people better understand the issues faced by people with IDD and behavioral health support needs and potential solutions for system improvement.

The Bridge Forward Event Report highlights what was learned, discussed, and recommended at the event. The Final Report Video Overview and Final Report Presentation Slides share the key findings and recommendations from the report. The Bridge Forward Event Infographic gives an accessible overview of the challenges, ideas, and recommendations from the report. The Bridge Forward Logic Model describes the creation, development, and implementation of the event. Finally, a Bridge Forward One Pager was created to summarize the conference participation and satisfaction.
