National Leadership Consortium Coaches offer a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas of interpersonal, organizational, and systems leadership They will share their wisdom and insights with you along the way on relevant and useful areas of development. Currently, our coaches include the founders and advisors of the National Leadership Consortium, Steve Eidelman, and Nancy Weiss.

Steve Eidelman is the Co-Founder and Advisor of the National Leadership Consortium. Steven was also the H. Rodney Sharp Professor of Human Services Policy and Leadership at the University of Delaware. He is a past President of AAIDD, the past Executive Director of the Arc of the United States and has advised on the implementation of Article 19 of the UN CRPD, focusing on deinstitutionalization. He was the Pennsylvania state government official in charge when Pennhurst State School and Hospital was closed. Steve currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Chair of Special Olympics International. Steve also serves as the Executive Director of The Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge about leading and transforming systems.
Nancy Weiss is the Co-Founder and Advisor of the National Leadership Consortium and a recently retired professor at the University of Delaware. Nancy has more than 40 years of experience leading in provider organizations, UCEDDS, and national associations in the disabilities field and has worked relentlessly to end the use of aversive procedures and promote supports and policies that inspire inclusive communities and the rights of people with disabilities. Nancy brings a deep understanding of the skills and practices needed to lead values-driven organizations and systems that promote the rights and dignity of people with disabilities.
